Job Description:
The Electrical VPE Salaried Bargaining Union Engineer is
responsible for: Developing manufacturing processes by designing
electrical test equipment, modifying equipment or test software for
Stellantis assembly plants. Designing electrical testing methods
for testing finished products and system capabilities. Install and
verify Industrial tooling from various tooling suppliers.
Diagnosing vehicle assembly, vehicle module software and tooling to
root cause issues. Work with vendors to define electrical systems
and write specifications to suppliers to procure equipment and
tooling for implement during new vehicle launches. Conduct
in-vehicle assembly including timelines, procurement, design and
specification, and implementation. Schedule, plan, monitor, report
key performance indicators and activities. Work with multiple
departments to complete projects and/or tasks. Manage multiple
tasks and stay on track.
