Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. Two full-time Social
Worker positions are available for the upcoming full semester in a
K-12 school setting located in Ypsilanti, MI. These roles offer the
opportunity to provide critical social work services to middle and
high school students, supporting their emotional and social
development in an educational environment. Position Details: -
Location: Ypsilanti, MI - Start Date: ASAP through June 5, 2026 -
Schedule: Full-time, onsite - Caseload: One position focused on
middle school students, one on high school students - Contract:
Full semester Qualifications: - Current authorization for School
Social Work through SSW-310 or the Michigan Department of Education
School Social Worker Credential - Experience working with K-12
students in a school social work capacity - Strong ability to
manage and support caseload to address student social, emotional,
and behavioral needs - Clear documentation of all relevant licenses
and certifications Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments and
provide counseling to students to address social, emotional, and
behavioral challenges - Work collaboratively with school staff,
families, and community agencies to develop and implement student
support plans - Maintain accurate records and documentation in
compliance with school and state guidelines - Participate in school
meetings and multidisciplinary teams to advocate for student needs
