Job Description:

As a Consumer Loan Sales Specialist, you will empower customers by providing access to friendly, fast, and affordable financing for life's expenses.

At OneMain, Consumer Loan Sales Specialists learn the lending and servicing business, allowing them to grow their career. They develop new relationships, maintain existing ones, and work with customers throughout the loan process and life cycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• 
  
• Delivering results related to individual and branch sales goals as well as customer expectations
  
• Presenting financial solutions based on customer needs that meet their goals
  
• Presenting customers with optional insurance products
  
• Educating customers on the terms and conditions of their loan to ensure a clear understanding
  
• Partnering with local businesses to seek out and develop new customers
  
• Learning how to utilize credit underwriting techniques and sales tools
  
• Managing the life cycle of the loan, including collections activities, complying with all laws and regulations
  
  
  Requirements include:
  
  • 
    
  • HS Diploma/GED
    
  • Ability to travel locally for business development purposes
    
    
    Preferred requirements include:
    
    • 
      
    • Sales, Collections or Customer Service experience
      
    • Bilingual - Spanish
      
      
      The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday during standard business hours, with some extended hours during the week as needed.
