Job Summary of Electrical Systems Engineer I
Our client, a developer of advanced vehicle technologies, is looking for an Electrical Systems Engineer I to join their team. In his position, you'll be responsible for designing and developing system electrical architectures and requirements.

Responsibilities of Electrical Systems Engineer I

• 
  
• Read and understand microprocessor and other IC datasheets Participate and approve core documents
  
• Ability to make high level trade-offs to optimize system design for cost, safety, and performance
  
• Create system architecture and design specifications
  
• Participate in contribute to system safety analysis
  
• Coordinate software and system engineering activities across projects
  
• Assist in creation of System Engineering Management Plans per project
  
• Assist in defining and maintaining re-usable assets from the systems and safety team
  
   
  Qualifications of Electrical Systems EngineerI
  
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer, or Controls Engineering
    
  • 2+ years of experience in automotive embedded (ECU) system design
    
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 concepts
    
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity standards and process is a plus
    
  • Knowledge of SysMl tools and concepts is preferred
    
  • Basic knowledge of controls, motors, controllers, sensors, and mechanical actuators
    
  • Understanding of basic automotive electronics
    
     
    Compensation & Other Details:
    Salary Range: $70,000-87,000/year, depending on experience
    
    Type:  Direct
    Travel:  As and when required
    Relocation Assistance:  Subject to review
    Visa Sponsorship: H1B transfer or TN
