Role
As we continue partnering with nature to achieve our global mission, every team member at Koppert brings something unique. The Production Planner is someone who is passionate about numbers and data driven production planning. As a member of the production team, they will provide data resources and analysis to the leadership team. This information is directly used by the leadership team to guide daily inputs to the process and support continuous improvement. As a secondary role, you bring experience in project management.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Receipt and centralization of raw data produced by all production teams.
- Daily entry of raw data into Excel tracking workbooks.
- Monitor and analyze all electronically entered production data (Agriware).
- Support Production Manager through mastery of all data management tools while providing updates directly influencing daily production decision making.
- Interpret, analyze, and report local and global KPI's to support continuous improvement initiatives within Production.
- Maintain stock workbooks and monitor all production stock levels; provide weekly reports to replenish consumable materials.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide planning and oversight to production initiatives as a project manager.
- Support Production Manager and Director of Production as a team member on larger Production projects.

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrate mastery of data management tools.
- Interpersonal skills to work in both an individual analytical role and team based production environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Awareness of individual personal schedule and the ability to manage weekly repetitive tasks without continuous supervision or direction.
- Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of project management, including oversight and timeline tools, such as Gantt charts.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage project budget and reach desired outcome through managing milestone objectives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience and Education
- High School Diploma required; Bachelors in Project Management or Supply Chain preferred.
- 3+ years' coursework in business, supply chain management, or accounting required.
- 3+ years' experience in a production planner or supply chain management position required.
- 5+ years production experience required.
- Certified Project Manager preferred.
