$2,000 sign on bonus for all CDLA Van drivers - 2 yr experienced drivers start at .55-.60 CPM. DHT's CDL-A drivers will perform regional runs and follow a first in first out dispatch style where drivers will have 1.5-2 day resets weekly. There are flexible days off available for this position. DHT also operates full-service repair facilities.Essential Duties of a CDLA Van Driver:--- Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting goods--- Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order--- Operates a powered industrial vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws--- Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations--- Deftly maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals--- Maintains work orders, signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork--- Facilitates routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; reports maintenance malfunctions--- Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes--- Check all load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy--- Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure and undamaged Compensation Package for CDLA Van Drivers: --- Updated pay scale for experienced drivers--- $2,000 sign-on bonus--- Paid weekly direct deposits--- Employee Owned Company - Potential for profit sharing--- 401K with Partial Employer Match--- Paid vacation and paid sick time--- Healthcare Insurance (Medical, HSA, Vision, Dental)--- Short-term & Long-term disability--- Company provided life insurance (buy-up option also available)--- Legal Shield & ID Theft Protection--- Pet Insurance.
