Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Construction Project Manager to direct multiple construction projects and oversee all the phases, including pre-construction planning, developing a schedule, ensuring that project requirements are being followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. You will administer contracts, change orders, and billing. You will maintain close interaction with clients and monitor construction and financial activities until the project is completed and manage the closeout process.What you will be doing:

  • Develop a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project following a logical pattern for utilization of resources
  • Procure, process, and coordinate work of subcontractors working on various phases of the project
  • Review architectural and engineering drawings during the design process and plan revisions to make sure that all owner requirements and regulations are being followed
  • Assist with owner construction contracts and obtain all necessary permits and licenses
  • Develop and mentor junior project managers, review their reports and check on any reported difficulties
  • Generate, track and update the construction schedule to achieve completion of project on time
  • Control and forecast project costs to achieve completion of project within budget
  • Report to owners about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated
  • Manage the close-out of the project, including punch list generation and close-out documentation submissionWhat you need to succeed:
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field
    • At least 10 years of proven experience supervising construction projects of increasing complexity
    • Extensive experience managing design-build projects
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and coordinate numerous activities and diverse groupsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
    • Willingness to travel bi-weekly for two to three daysWhat is in it for you:
