Job Description:

Adecco is currently assisting a national client in their search to fill a dispatcher position in Flint, MI. This is a long-term contract. This is an entry level position monitoring evening/overnight fleet operations. Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

Responsibilities for the dispatcher job include:

Must be able to work independently

Must be able to work flexible hours (nights/weekends/holidays)

Basic transportation knowledge- DOT regulations

Experience scheduling drivers and shipments

Able to articulate and document operational requirements and issues

Strong problem solving skills and high sense of urgency

Strong computer skills- Web based applications, Excel, etc

Qualifications:

1-2 years transportation experience preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Bachelors Degree preferred

Must possess good communication skills as well as organizational and problem solving skills

Need basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required

This is a 3rd shift opening,

Pay for this position is $15-$17 an hour.
