Job Description:

is hiring Aircraft Fuel System Mechanics in -Oscoda, Michigan. Job Description: This position is responsible for inspection, repair and maintenance of aircraft fuel tanks and cells, and in-flight refueling systems. Complies with safety, fire, security, and housekeeping regulations. Subject to rotating shift potential, providing coverage on off duty weekends, and supporting unit temporary duty assignments. Job Responsibilities:

• Performs fuel leak evaluation, classification and repair including organic sealant removal, aircraft surface preparation and application of organic sealing compounds.
• Performs inspections, functional checks and preventive maintenance on assigned aircraft to include periodic, phase, hourly, calendar and special inspections.
• Performs unscheduled maintenance to include troubleshooting fuel system malfunctions, determining the extent and type of repair, and performing the necessary repairs to include the removal, installation, adjustment and operational checks of various fuel system components such as fuel lines, valves, pumps, and switches on assigned aircraft utilizing various test equipment.
