The Anode Development Specialist will be responsible for conducting
scientific studies to correlate material process/properties to
performance of silicon anodes in lithium-ion batteries. The Anode
Development Specialist will use the correlation information to
drive development strategy to create anode products with
performance meeting industry requirements.
Collaborate with Chief Scientist in execution of development
experiments to optimize materials and CVD process towards meeting
Collaborate with industrial, government and academic institutions
to gather data and information necessary to prioritize experimental
projects improving anode performance.
Gather information and create knowledge in the use and operation of
silicon anodes in lithium-ion batteries.
Document learning events and collaborate with team to produce
product development roadmaps.
Participate in conferences, meetings to gather accurate information
on the state-of-the-art relevant technology and leverage it to
create competitive advantage of the product for the business.
Coordinate work of technicians assisting laboratory activity.
Graduate degree (MSc. or Ph.D) Materials Science, Physics or
Chemistry. Specialty in battery science or electrochemistry is
highly valued but not required.
Required Work Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in industrial CVD process
development and or battery technology field.
