  • Employee Assistance ServicesWhat you do:The Community Liaison position is responsible for developing messaging for critical relationships for all facilities. The position requires close coordination and communication with Administrators and Executive Leadership on crafting strategic messaging related to all aspects elements of the organizations on operations and capabilities.
    • Overall responsibility is to develop relationships within community organizations and to educate community leaders regarding services provided by the Mission Point. Works collaboratively with the Administrator and other members of the Leadership team to build relationships and to coordinate internal and external events related to communicating necessary messaging.
    • Develop critical and strategic relationships with key community and professional groups including but not limited to medical, insurance, legal and financial professionals, senior organizations, appropriate special interest groups, retirement communities, clergy, and other community contacts. Educate on changes and additions to services and programs.
    • Identifying key groups to communicate operational and clinical changes in regard to changes to programs and services.
    • Develop, coach and train facility leadership on effective communication targeted at educating the community.
    • Continuously conducts assessments and develops a comprehensive plan designed to identify community interest, needs, services and products that can be provided by the organization and more.
    • Travel to the Grand Rapids area is required for this role from time to time.What you need:
      • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare or business administration or related field preferred.
      • Must have two years successful community relations and/or community education experience in the healthcare field, preferably in long-term care and/or sub-acute rehab.
