Kelly has partnered with a leading global printing provider of multichannel business communications services and marketing solutions with more than 52,000 clients around the world.-- --Our--client needs a Desktop Publishing Operator. This is a great entry-level role to help the right candidate further their Printing career!As the Desktop Publishing Operator you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance on plate setters and plate processors, logging all time and materials into the MIS system, and troubleshoot jobs that have problems--Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Copy jobs to network, from customer's disk, using appropriate peripheral drive(s).
• Preflight jobs, noting anything missing from or not correct in customer's files.
• Archive jobs to tape.
• Unarchive previous jobs, either for a current job or to download to customer's disk.
• Run simple jobs, 1-color or 2-color by completely reading the ticket, all transmittals and information with the ticket, running lasers to check against customer lasers, setting trap where necessary, thenShift:
  • M-F 11a-8:30p @ $15-18/hr DOERequirements:
    • HS Diploma/GED required
    • Printing/graphic design oriented
    • Knowledge of Proof & Plate making
    • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Quark XPress, Retrospect, Suitcase, and MS Office Suite
