Job Description:
Marathon Petroleum Corporation, the largest refiner in the US
with an impressive portfolio of 16 refineries and a refining
capacity of over 3 million barrels per day, is seeking a
Cybersecurity Manager to join our dedicated IT & Cybersecurity
team. This pivotal role is designed to strengthen our cybersecurity
framework and manage our security measures to protect our vast
refining operations and corporate infrastructure. The ideal
candidate will craft robust cybersecurity strategies, ensuring
alignment with our corporate risk management policies and
compliance with all regulatory requirements. Develop and implement
comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures. Manage a team
of cybersecurity professionals to monitor, detect, and respond to
security incidents. Conduct regular system audits to identify
vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure cybersecurity best
practices are integrated across all technology projects and
infrastructure developments. Handle incident response efforts and
conduct thorough investigations to mitigate risks. Stay updated
with the latest security technologies and cyber threats to foster
briefing and deployment of preventative measures. Manage
cybersecurity budget and vendor relationships. Expertise in modern
cybersecurity technologies and protocols. Strong leadership skills
and experience in managing a team of IT security professionals.
Proficiency in incident response and digital forensics. Excellent
understanding of network infrastructure and database security.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance, such as NEI 08-09, NERC CIP,
