Description Robert Half is looking to fill an open Human Resources/Payroll position for a growing company who will support the Payroll department in a variety of duties. This role is based in the Owosso, Michigan region. This challenging position calls for a candidate with a strong sense of initiative looking to advance their career path and work alongside an industry leader. The position seeks a candidate who is skilled in communicating with both the internal team and outside customers while being part of a dynamic, fast-growing team. The Human Resources/Payroll specialist duties will include data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. This Human Resources/Payroll Specialist opportunity is a long-term contract / contract / contract / temporary employment role.
Major responsibilities

  Compile a system of administering and distributing reports
  
  
• 
  Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system
  
  
• 
  Communicate with organization employees via a variety of channels to obtain approvals of timesheets
  
  
•

  Run and build custom reports

  Carry out clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc

  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

  Well-founded grasp of HRIS System

  Proficiency in Conducting Phone Screens

  Interviewing experience

  Paycom experience required

  Proven knowledge of HRIS Database
  
  
• 
  Corporate Recruiting experience desired
  
  
•
