Job Description:

The SharePoint Administrator primarily supports efforts related to content management within the Operations IT/OT - Product Digital Thread organization.This role is a long-term contract position that does include paid benefits. Pay for this role will be $19 - $22/hr based on experience.Works with the PDT Knowledge, Content and System Management team and other functional SMEs in the design and development of SharePoint Teams and SharePoint communication sites, including tools and applications, document administration/management, writing operating discipline, user job aids, and security plans. Examples of duties include:

  • SharePoint administrator for multiple sites, including SharePoint Teams, SharePoint Communication sites and MS Teams
  • Troubleshooting SharePoint site issues and user activities
  • Developing, configuring and customizing new SharePoint Communication Sites to specifications, including testing and troubleshooting
  • Developing and configuring new SharePoint Team Sites to specifications, including testing and troubleshooting
  • Maintaining and updating intranet sites in Multi-Tenant Enabled Content (MTEC), Content Stack (CMS), SharePoint Communications, etc. environments
  • Work with functional SMEs and document admins
  • Writing Operating Discipline and user job aids, security plans, etc.
  • Provide administrative support in completing complex tasks to team
  • Collect and analyze various content management data sets
  • Provide technical support to SharePoint and other site users
  • Provide document administration activities, including file migration, records retention, compliance reviews, etc.
  • Maintaining and adding documents into SharePoint sites and MS Teams.
  • Monitoring of functional mailbox
  • Demonstrate good problem-solving skills. Capable of prioritizing competing requests successfully and multi-tasking. Demonstrates comfort and skill when using technology. Strong organizational and time management skills. Good planning skills and ability to anticipate needs. Able to adapt to change.
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement mindset within work processes and systems

    • Associates degree or higher preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is preferred
    • Proficiency in SharePoint - both Teams and Communication sites - is preferred
    • Proficiency in MS Teams is preferred
    • Previous experience in managing content on Intranet sites is preferred
    • Proficiency in HTML and other programming languages is a plus
    • Proficiency in File Share Management (FSM) and Share Gate is a plus
    • Proficiency in Power Apps is a plus
    • Previous experience in technical writing, including procedures, processes, trouble shooting guides, job aids, etc. is preferred
    • Ability to work with cross-functional leaders, teams and global counterparts within Dow, contracting companies and partnering employers
