Cook Leisure LivingPOSITION SUMMARYResponsible for preparing and serving planned menu as well as maintaining quality standards in the dining services department.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPrepare tasteful, nutritionally balanced meals based on pre-planned menusPrepare meals with consideration of resident preferences and food safety standardsResponsible for ensuring pleasing plate presentation for all mealsEnsuring resident special diets are offered and prepared, recognizing a resident's right to chooseComplete dining room service, including set up, service and clean up with high hospitality standardsAssist with inventory and maintain supplies in all common area kitchenettesFollow the sanitation schedule for kitchen, equipment, and dining room to maintain standard of sanitation and cleanlinessParticipate in preparation for special eventsPromote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitorsPerform any other duties as requested within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the job.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
