Summary: The Pharmacy Liaison Rep position is responsible for acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for both customers and designated outside sales partner(s) in an assigned geography. The role is designed to provide customer service solutions regarding business issues. Additionally, this role is intended to build upon the customer interaction for increasing Diplomat TRx volume and market share. The Pharmacy Liaison Rep develops and builds on long-term effective relationships with Healthcare providers, affiliated pharmacy staff and support personnel in various customer locations in the assigned territory to promote the company's services and solutions. Additional responsibility includes growing customer commitment and sales volume through customer service interactions regarding patient updates, both in proactive sales activity and when responding to inquiries. Education/Experience: Associates Degree or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred; One or more years of customer service, medical billing, pharmaceutical or sales experience required. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for customers in a defined territory, paired with a designated outside sales partner(s) to support and grow key customer relationships. * Support achievement of Sales goal attainment in assigned territory. * Develops and maintains productive and effective relationships with physicians, nurses, office managers and other applicable customers. Builds customer loyalty and engagement to Diplomat services by proactively interacting and promptly following-up on inquiries. * Develops and implements territory business plans, focusing on key performance measures and customer service solutions that positively impact goals, objectives and prioritized activities * Customer Improvement focus; provide customers with unique, critical perspective on improving their business by laying out a vision for improvement that positively grows Diplomat's commercial relationship. * Manages inbound and outbound e-mail, phone calls and faxes for customer service support and follow up. Proactively informs outside sales partner(s) of customer issues and resolutions when appropriate. * Demonstrates an understanding of Pharmacy Operations process, life of a prescription at Diplomat and the Patient Journey. Understand and support internal processing functions and personnel. * Demonstrates an understanding of the disease state(s), competitors, health care industry trends, etc. * Collaborates and works closely with management and other departments in the organization, including Member Benefits, Operations, Clinical, Payor Strategies, Diplomat University, etc. * Builds and maintains compliant business relationships with pharmaceutical partners and reimbursement personnel in the territory. * Represents the company at relevant conferences and expositions as determined by sales leadership. * Effectively manages and administers territory budgets, expense reporting and internal system applications, including daily reporting of call activity in CRM * Performs other related duties as assigned. * Travel for meetings, conferences and outside field support may be required as part of this role responsibility Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft products.
