UMH Sparrow Lansing Main Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (MD) for hospital-based IR coverage in Lansing, MI. What You ll Do

• Provide hospital-based Interventional Radiology (IR) services as part of a 3-physician / 2-APP IR team
• Support a day-shift schedule and maintain Q3 call coverage (every third weekday and every third weekend)
• Perform and interpret IR procedures including:
  • Angioplasty, stent placement
  • Embolization, thrombolysis
  • Needle biopsy
  • Uterine fibroid embolization (UFE)
• Support additional procedure needs as available: Ortho, Gyn, and Urology cases
• Coordinate care and documentation in the context of a hospital-based practice (EMR not specified)
• Work with IR support staff including a manager and APPs supporting the physician team

What You Need
Required

• MD (Interventional Radiology)
• Board-certified (Board Certification required)
• Ability to provide Q3 call coverage (every third weekday and every third weekend)

• Experience with a broad IR case mix including angioplasty/stenting, embolization, thrombolysis, biopsies, and UFE (not explicitly stated as required)

This is a locum opportunity at a leading hospital-based IR service in Lansing, MI, supporting an established interventional radiology team with dedicated APP support. The facility is Level I trauma designated, and the practice provides a range of adult-focused IR procedures, with an estimated case volume of approximately 8 cases per day (as provided). The site can also accommodate providers needing additional travel if you can cover 3+ weeks per month, and credentialing is estimated around 90 days with potential to fast-track for ASAP needs.
