Orientation & Mobility Specialist (O&M) in a School in

Responsibilities: Conduct orientation and mobility assessments for
students with visual impairments Develop and implement mobility
goals as part of the student’s IEP Teach safe travel skills,
spatial awareness, and use of mobility aids (e.g., long cane)
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student
independence Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required
documentation Qualifications: Certification as an Orientation &
Mobility Specialist (COMS) issued by the National Blindness
Professional Certification Board National Orientation and Mobility
Certification (NOMC) issued by the National Blindness Professional
Certification Board Orientation & Mobility Specialist Certification
(PK–12) Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) endorsement with
O&M specialization Special Education certification with O&M
authorization Ability to work effectively in a School setting
Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making
skills Preferred Skills and Qualifications One or more years of
experience in a School setting Familiarity with electronic
documentation systems Demonstrated commitment to professional
growth and patient-centered care Job details: Pay: $2,325.15 -
$2,397.06 /week Location: California Assignment Length: 12 Shift:
