Job Description Job Description Job Summary Responsible for
supervision of clinical analysts, healthcare coordinator,
Administrative and Special Projects Coordinator for family support
subsidy and COFR, and social-emotional consultant activities and
personnel. Essential Functions Performs administrative and
supervisory duties related to all functions of the clinical
analyst, healthcare coordinator, Administrative and Special
Projects Coordinator for family support subsidy and COFR and social
emotional consultant activities. Monitors and evaluates audit
results, reports, grant reports, and clinical reviews conducted by
the clinical practice team. Provides direction to individual
employees on Clinical Practice Team through leadership,
facilitation, teaching, coordination, problem solving, conflict
resolution, and coaching. Leads and participates in the review of
Service Models for all networks, monitoring specifically the use of
Evidence Based Practices and clinical incentives. Leads and
supports review of hospital admission disputes and high cost/level
Specialized Residential Services admission. Leads and directs the
development of new clinical protocols, procedures, and practice
guidelines and the implementation in the OCHN network
(write/develop clinical protocols, procedures, and practice
guidelines as directed for high-risk situation). Participates in
and leads clinical sections of NCQA and HSAG. Participates in
Management level meetings, annual goals, and updates. Participates
in Integrated Healthcare activities including grant writing and
reporting on grant activities. Leads Clinical team in the updating
of UM Manual clinical protocols, procedures, practice guidelines
and audit tools and analysis of audit results and reporting to
network. Manages and provides direction to the Zero Suicide efforts
for the Clinical Team, agency, and statewide efforts.
Master’s-level clinical experience to guide fully licensed
Master’s-level staff in a variety of activities. Ability to
understand and recognize each staff member’s needs and adapt
supervision accordingly. Strong leadership to guide and direct
clinical team and network related to clinical services High level
ability to understand rapidly developing situations and develop
plans to address challenging clinical issues. Aggregates and
analyzes large amounts of data, create visual representations of
data. Advocates, recommend, and Implement clinically appropriate
services with the individuals in our network. Job Requirements and
Qualifications Education : The individual must possess a minimum of
a Master’s degree in a mental health field. Training Requirements
(licenses, programs, or certificates): LLP, LP, LMSW, LPC, LMFT
Experience Requirements: Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in
providing services to Individual’s with Intellectual /
Developmental Disabilities or Adults with Mental Illness, persons
with substance use / co-occurring disorders, and/or experience with
Children with Serious Emotional Disturbance may be considered; 7
years of relevant experience preferred. Previous supervisory
experience in areas such as community mental health and substance
use disorder service delivery and program facilitation preferred.
Knowledge Requirements: Knowledge of public mental health service
delivery systems in Oakland County. Knowledge of OCHN substance
use, mental health, children, and intellectual/developmental
disability provider network, and how to access additional community
services. Knowledge and understanding of OCHN utilization
management protocols and processes. Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria.
Knowledge of Michigan Mental Health Code. Understanding of Medicaid
rules, regulations and Michigan Medicaid Provider Manual. Knowledge
of OCHN Screening and Assessment Tools Knowledge of all clinical
services provided by OCHN and its provider network. Job Specific

positive rapport with individuals in need. Create a welcoming

Demonstrated high level of proficiency with Word, Excel, database,
and other relevant software programs. Demonstrated high level of
interpersonal skills both in direct personal interactions and on
the telephone. Demonstrated high level of oral and written
communication skills. Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume
of relatively complex assignments accurately and timely.
Demonstrated organizational skills needed to establish office
procedures and maintain files and records. Understanding of
recipient rights policies. Understanding of trauma informed
principles. Ability to use basic intervention skills. Supervisory
Competencies/Skills: Ability to work collaboratively and create a
team environment that resolves problems and implements solutions in
an environment that fosters continuous improvement. Ability to
recruit, select, supervise, plan, direct, and evaluate the work of
professional, administrative, and clerical employees. Ability to

Additional Information (Travel required, physical requirements,
etc.): Must have available means of transportation to and from OCHN
and for required off-site meetings or site visits. Must be
available for meetings and events which may occur outside of
standard office hours. Work performed primarily in an office
environment. Hybrid (onsite/remote) work schedule available. The
