Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in both facility-based
and home-based patient care, is looking for a dedicated Nurse
Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and ensure top-tier care in our
network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. The ideal candidate
will be skilled in managing both people and programs, adept in
budgeting and staffing, and well-versed in compliance with
healthcare laws and regulations. As a Nurse Supervisor, you will
play a crucial role in shaping the health outcomes of our patients,
supervising day-to-day nursing activities, and ensuring that each
patient's care plan is executed with compassion and clinical
excellence. Supervise and recruit nursing staff Coordinate nursing
staff training and professional development Ensure compliance with
healthcare laws and regulations Manage patient care and ensure
adherence to all facility healthcare protocols Oversee nursing
budget and staffing plans Facilitate collaborative teamwork across
the healthcare departments Implement and oversee patient care plans
with a focus on rehabilitation and recovery Report healthcare
outcomes and quality measures to facility management Strong
leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Proficient in healthcare management systems
and patient data privacy standards Expertise in staff development
and strategic planning Able to handle multiple tasks and work in a
challenging environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license required Certification
in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) Certification for Nurse Executives (CNE) preferred but not
required
