Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare
services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Supervisor
to join our team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest
standards of care and operation within our inpatient rehabilitation
hospitals. The Nurse Supervisor will oversee a team of nursing
staff, ensuring compliance with current healthcare regulations and
our organizational standards. This is an excellent opportunity to
play a key role in a patient-focused environment where the care we
provide directly contributes to our patients recovery and
well-being. Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring adherence
to hospital policies and patient care standards. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient
outcomes. Manage staffing requirements, scheduling to ensure
adequate coverage at all times. Conduct performance evaluations and
implement professional development plans for staff. Lead quality
assurance and improvement initiatives within the nursing
department. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and
maintain accreditation standards. Address and resolve any issues
related to patient care or staff performance. Strong leadership and
team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills In-depth knowledge of healthcare and nursing practices,
regulations, and guidelines Ability to work effectively with a
multidisciplinary team Proven problem-solving and conflict
resolution skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Current registered nurse (RN) license in the
applicable state. BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification ACLS
(Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification preferred.
