Med-Peds Faculty Opportunity - Location: Flint, MI - Detroit 65m - Full- or Part-Time, permanent position - Academic ClinicianPosition Overview: This is an exciting opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine-Pediatrics physician to teach and mentor the next generation of clinicians in a vibrant, urban academic setting.Role Highlights: Serve as an attending physician in the Combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics residency programs Provide direct teaching, supervision, and mentorship to residents Participate in core faculty duties with opportunities for leadership and administrative roles Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives Qualifications: MD or DO from an accredited institution Board Certified or Board Eligible in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Strong interpersonal and communication skills Tech-savvy and team-oriented Committed to serving a diverse, urban population Academic Appointment: Eligible for academic appointment with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Rank commensurate with experience and academic contributions Additional Perks: Potential eligibility for federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Collegial environment with access to academic resources and support
