VeeAR Health is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Midland, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/19/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Shift Notes: Days: 12 hrs: Variable 12 Hour Day Shifts (Anything between 6a - 8p) / Call Required / Will work Ambulatory & PACU Weekend Requirements: Required On Call Requirements: Required Job Description: This position has basic knowledge of operative procedures in order to assess and implement care for ambulatory surgery patients. Responsibilities (30%)* Regularly assesses patient's/client's needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician authorized plan of care, and accepted standards of nursing practice. (30%)* Provides direct patient resident care, including medication administration, treatments, call lights, assisting with transfers, responding to alarms, etc. (20%)* Evaluates effectiveness of treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates in updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members, utilizing current information to improve patient care. (10%)* Processes physician/provider orders and performs physician ordered care accurately, completely and in a timely manner. (10%)* Follows up regarding medication changes and order clarifications.
