Pediatrics opening in Alpena, Michigan. Start Date: 10/28/2019 End Date: 7/31/2020 Weekend Requirements: Part of Call On Call Requirements: Call (7a-7a / Thurs-Mon) MANDATED Job Requirements: Board Certified - Preferred
Board Eligible - Accepted if within 5 years completion of program
MI license at time of submission - Required
NRP - Required
Local / In-State Locum - Required

Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified
• Board Eligible
• NRP License Requirements:
  • Michigan - Clinic (8a-5p/Thursday, Friday, Monday) - Depending on number of days the locum covers, they also may be in the clinic. Typically, clinic starts at 9/9:30 a.m. on call days.
    - Call 2x/month (7a-7a /Thursday-Monday) - When on call, locum will round and attend deliveries/ER when required, however call is mostly phone.
    
    Practice Manager and staff on site at all times
    Clinic patient census = 15-20 per day
    Call patient census = 1-2 per night
    Level 1 Nursery - Fewer than 7 births a week
    Locum will have to attend high risk C-sections
    Epic - EMR

    Newborn Resuscitation
    NRP
