Job Description:

I'm looking to hire 1-2 full time dental hygienists for my solo practitioner fee-for-service dental practice. Although previous experience is preferred - it is not required. These positions are FULL-TIME, but might consider PART-TIME options if the circumstances work for both of us. My FAMILY practice is located in a small quiet community in central MIchigan. Responsibities include but are not limited to: Traditional cleanings using both hand instruments and ultrasonic scalers. Deep scaling and Root Plaining (DSRP) with administartion of Local Anesthetics. Review and Doucumentation of Concerns, Health History, Dental History, Oral Findings, working with the dentist to deteremine patient periodontal stablilty and appropriate course(s) of treatments, taking appropriate radiographs using digital imaging (both intraoral & extraoral), basic care, upkeep, and sterilization/disinfection of hygiene instruments and of the RDH operatory, educating and motivating all patients to better care for their teeth and gums, and working as a team member with all the staff to make the practice successful in all facets. REQUIREMENTS: Current Licensure from the State of MICH as a REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST Current CPR certification. Excellent VERBAL and WRITTEN Communication Skills. Comfort using DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY. And mostly the Knowledge and Drive to excel at your profession and help patients become and stay healthy. We currently see patients MON-THU. NO evenings. No weekends. We are NOT a corporate dental "mill" - we treat patients with respect and give them all the individualized care that they need and deserve.
