To be considered for this position, you must use the "Submit Resume" button to submit your resumes, however your resume must be received via the "Submit Resume" button included within.--Job Title: Lab Tech--Job DescriptionThis opportunity is in a customer-focused laboratory setting that evaluates ion exchange resin samples as a service to our customers.-- The candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing ion exchange resin properties using various test methods.-- Timely, accurate reporting of results will be an important metric for success.-- The candidate will also perform basic maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.-- Candidate may also be required to perform special testing or nonroutine tasks with minimal supervision.-- Participation in department and personal safety programs will be expected.-- The laboratory evaluates many routine samples per year, using a wide array of testing methods; this requires emphasis on flexibility, teamwork, and good communications skills.----Key job responsibilities include:--

• Preparation and analysis of ion exchange resin samples following prescribed test methods
• Performance of non-routine testing as needed
• Routine instrument maintenance
• Timely and accurate reporting of laboratory results to stakeholders
• Cooperation and coordination of tasks with laboratory staff and stakeholders
• Laboratory housekeeping and disposal of wastes, following a set protocol--Preferred Qualifications
  • B.S. in Chemistry or related field, or Associates degree with 2+ years of industrial experience
  • Demonstrated technical competence with routine laboratory and analytical chemistry techniques, such as titrations, spectrophotometry and density testing.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and write clear and effective reports.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office programs--
  • Ability to work well with other people under tight timelines and conflicting priorities
  • Willingness to learn and pivot when necessary
