Job Description Job Description Summary: Our client is a
Plastics company that specializes in highly-complex plastic
injection-molds, molded parts and assemblies for the food and
pharmaceutical industries. They are looking for a Maintenance
Technician to join their team. In this role this person would be
responsible the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of
injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. This role
ensures that all machinery operates efficiently, safely, and with
minimal downtime to support production goals Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding
machines, molds, robots, and related equipment. Troubleshoot
mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Respond
promptly to equipment breakdowns and production calls. Monitor
machine performance and adjust or repair components as needed.
Maintain detailed maintenance records and logs of repairs,
inspections, and parts usage. Collaborate with engineering and
production teams to improve machine reliability and efficiency.
Order and manage spare parts inventory as needed. Assist with
installation of new equipment or upgrades to existing machinery.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; technical or
vocational training preferred. 3 years of experience in injection
molding maintenance or a similar industrial maintenance role.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Familiarity with injection molding machines is a plus. Ability to
read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and
schematics.
