Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12
day center serving a severe cognitive impairment (SCI) student
population in Canton, MI. This on-site contract role spans the
current school year and requires strong experience working with AAC
and assistive technology (AT) devices. Key responsibilities
include: - Developing and implementing individualized speech and
language intervention plans for students with severe cognitive
impairments - Utilizing augmentative and alternative communication
(AAC) and assistive technology (AT) devices to support student
communication - Managing a caseload in compliance with the Michigan
maximum of 60 students (exact caseload to be confirmed during the
interview) - Collaborating with educators and support staff to
address student needs effectively Qualifications: - Valid Michigan
Speech-Language Pathology license - Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC) from ASHA - Experience working as an SLP in school
settings, preferably with K-12 populations - Proficiency with AAC
and AT device implementation - Ability to work onsite full-time -
Must not be an SLP Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) or Speech-Language
Pathology Assistant (SLPA) This contract role offers the
