School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
in Detroit, MI is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to
provide comprehensive psychological services throughout the
academic school year under a contract arrangement. This role offers
an opportunity to support student learning and well-being by
applying expert assessment and intervention skills in an
educational setting. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct
psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results to
identify student needs. - Develop and implement individualized
intervention plans to support academic and social-emotional growth.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote
positive learning environments. - Provide crisis intervention and
counseling services as necessary. - Participate in
multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development
of student support strategies. - Maintain accurate documentation
and comply with relevant laws and ethical standards. Qualifications
and Desired Experience: - Valid State certification or licensure as
a School Psychologist. - Experience working with K-12 students in
school settings. - Strong knowledge of psychological assessments
and evidence-based interventions. - Effective communication and
collaboration skills to work with diverse educational teams. -
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
