Job Description:
Michigan Farm Bureau (MFB), Michigans largest general farm
organization, is seeking a dedicated P/C Customer Operations
Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This position is instrumental
in upholding our commitment to defend the rights and economic
interests of our members by ensuring excellence in customer service
and support. As a leader within the customer service department,
the ideal candidate will oversee operations and guide a team tasked
with serving our property and casualty insurance clientele.
Supervise daily activities of the customer service team and ensure
adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures,
optimizing productivity and operational excellence. Monitor team
performance to ensure that the customer service exceeds the
expectations set by Michigan Farm Bureau standards. Address and
resolve customer inquiries or complaints, ensuring client
satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with other departments to
facilitate seamless service delivery and handle any escalated
customer service issues. Develop and implement strategies to
improve customer service quality, including training and mentoring
new team members. Regularly review and analyze performance reports;
propose and implement improvements as needed. Ensure compliance
with insurance laws and regulations as they relate to customer
service. Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent
verbal and written communication abilities Proficient in customer
service software and CRM systems Proven ability to handle multiple
tasks at one time Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of property and casualty insurance products and
regulations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM) Certified
Insurance Service Representative (CISR) or equivalent is
desirable
