Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant for our manufacturing client located in Howell, MI to be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, financial analysis, accountant reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, inventory, internal controls and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process including account reconciliations
• Prepare various financial reports for management
• Maintain inventory control
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Manage cash flow reporting
• Maintain fixed assets
• Establish and maintain standard costing
• Support internal audit activities and sales and use tax preparation
• Oversee AR and AP activities
• Participate in any special projects and ADHOC requests
  Job Requirements:
  
• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• Five or more years of accounting experience in a manufacturing setting
• Prior inventory management and standard cost experience
• Prior ERP experience
• Ability to interpret and present financial information
