Work for the Smart Safety CompanyOur team at Roll-Rite, LLC, a Safe Fleet brand, is seeking a Senior Accountant responsible for ensuring the smooth running of a finance and accounting department. This individual will need to combine their responsibilities with day-to-day accounting duties, such as data input and reporting.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Month End Close and other Monthly dutiesLead and participate in the month-end close process, ensuring that journal entries, closing activities, analysis and reports are accurate and on timePrepare Journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations including reconciling the cash accounts, to ensure that all balance sheet presentations are accurateAnalyze performance vs budget and report the variances with causal analysisPrepare the monthly financial reporting package, including analysis and commentary on the monthly resultsDevelop new analysis and reports as needed to help explain financial resultsAnalyze and report on sales channel and product line sales and profitabilityOther Duties:Complete weekly "flash" reporting to CorporateApply a working knowledge of applicable accounting practices and regulations; verify documents for completeness and complianceMaintain periodic cross-training to support as backup for AR and AP positions and help manage these functionsReview processes, recommend improvements to streamline where possible and create new processes where neededAssist in internal and external auditsManage fixed assets and capital spendSupport the rolling forecasting processProvide assistance on special projects as requestedQUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 3+ years of relevant experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceExperience in ERP systemsExperience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and month end closeAbility to develop relationships with individuals at all levels, including customers, vendors and other employeesAbility to communicate clearly and professionally through various mediums, including phone, e-mail and formal written communicationAnalytical skills, including the ability to identify inaccuracies or discrepanciesProblem solving and innovation skills, including the ability to analyze, interpret, understand and successfully resolve issues within the best interests of the Company.A high level of proficiency in ExcelProfessionalism with consistent ability to balance urgency and decisiveness with patience and compassionDiscretion in managing proprietary information belonging to the companyMeet the Smart Safety CompanyAt Safe Fleet our name says it all.
